HELLO!
I am Dave Alves.
My passion started when I was just a boy being introduced to the universe of games, music and movies. I soon realized that if I wanted to do most of the things I enjoyed, I would have to learn English somehow.
My parents could not afford English Language lessons for me, which used to be scarce and far too expensive back then. So, I started studying on my own.
With a dictionary on my lap and a joystick in my hands, I overcame the first challenge of my journey: the lack of resources.
Later, at college, I understood that the main reasons for having learned that way, considering I'd NEVER stepped into a language school classroom before, was the driving interest I had in what the language offered me, and a very strong purpose:
living all the experiences it could provide!
After years of dedication and hard study, I became the best rated English Teacher on the largest platform for hiring independent professionals in Brazil.
It's been more than 12 years of hard work,
and my passion has only grown stronger.
I ended up developing
a teaching method that has been demonstrably showing results.
